I was watching a debate between Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris when Sam used a cheap shot against Jordan to make a point. Jordan was trying to point out that the concept of sacrifice in religion was used to teach the virtue of delayed gratification. Jordan had just started to articulate his point when Sam immediately jumped in to conflate “sacrifice” with “human sacrifice”. This is a fallacious argument frequently used by leftists to cheat in a debate. Not all sacrifice is human sacrifice. Sam was using Hollywood imagery to make his point, counting on the idea of a bunch of primitive people hauling a virgin to an alter to sacrifice her before a huge ugly idol. Then, after Jordan had started to explain his point, it became obvious he was using the biblical concept of sacrifice, not the Hollywood one. Sam then interjected that Christianity was “based on human sacrifice”. At this point I became angry and was unable to finish watching the debate, because it was obvious that Sam was taking advantage of Jordan’s integrity and unwillingness to call him out on his cheating.

I was unaware that anyone had ever conflated Jesus’ sacrifice for us all to human sacrifice. This idea is based on what I like to call the “apples and oranges” fallacy. Jesus’ sacrifice might look like human sacrifice, but really is not. Jesus was not offered up on an altar to God. He did not go willingly, but rather was unwilling to use his God power to stop his being killed. He was betrayed by a friend, and then captured by solders. He then went to trial, was convicted using false testimony, and was beaten to a pulp. After all this, he was executed like a common criminal. On top of all this, it was not a “human” sacrifice, it was GOD sacrificing HIMSELF, who is NOT human. Conflating all this to be equivalent to hauling a virgin before an idol and killing her to appease an angry god is absurd.

The fact is, Sam Harris is a bigot against Christians. He hates us in the same way that a KKK member hates blacks. He is willing to cheat in a debate to justify his hatred. Jordan Peterson was “casting his pearls” before a swine.

In the beginning, I was a YEC or young earth creationist. I believed that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 literal days approximately 6000 years ago. The problem is, that there is some scientific evidence that the earth is far more than 6000 years old. This evidence is not theoretical either. In the past I would just use a “God of Gaps” argument and just say “God created it that way”. (BTW, the evolutionary “God of Gaps” is “millions of years” so this use is not just by creationists.)

It should be noted that the bible is not a science book. The bible is history, law, prophecy and a biography, but no where does it describe the mechanics of creation.

I have begun to think that God is more like a terraformer creator than a “ex nihilo” creator. I find that the idea that God created the heavens and the earth “from nothing” is not really supported by the bible, and this idea is more from man attempting to magnify God rather than describing him accurately. An example of this is the idea that God is “omnipotent” or without limits. We find through careful reading of the bible that God does indeed have actual limits, like changing his mind (God repented in Exodus 32:10-11) and God being unable to lie (Titus 1:2).

In Genesis 1.1-2, it says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.” God has not created anything yet. It is first announcing what God is doing. Then, it proclaims the condition of the earth, before anything started, as “formless and void”. Starting in verse 3, it then starts describing the steps of creation: Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

In my opinion, this means that the earth is currently ingredients, or parts that God uses for his creation. Like an artist uses a canvas and paints to paint a picture, God uses the formless earth for his creation. In no place does God describe the act of creating rocks, water and air. Instead, God begins the description of how he takes the earth and makes it a place of life. In my opinion, this is why when scientists look at the heavens and the earth, they see an old earth, because the ingredients are old.

Where I think the scientists go wrong is when they think life on earth is old. If you could imagine the process of terraforming a planet in the realm of science fiction, you would realize that due to the inter dependencies of various forms of life, that every form of life would have to be placed on the planet very quickly. This explains the 6 days that God used in my opinion. The carnivorous animals are dependent on the herbivore animals, the herbivores are dependent on the plants, and the plants are dependent on light. This is why God created light first. It is interesting that God then creates the Sun and the moon on the fourth day, not the first day. The sun and the moon need to be put in place to feed the plants that were created on the previous day via the water cycle.

It should be obvious to everyone that the earth is a creation, not something that happened by accident. This is documented in Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse”. The machine like action of the water cycle is proof positive of this in my opinion. In addition, you can add the orbit of the moon, the placement of Jupiter, and the protective layers of our atmosphere as further evidence of a well thought out creation. These are the “heavens” that God describes.

In my opinion, this should resolve any controversy we may have over the age of the earth.

The declaration of independence says, “All men are created equal”. At the time, the aristocracy was in power in most parts of the world. This statement was an extreme one at the time. After all, the aristocracy considered themselves superior to the common people. The “common people” also considered themselves inferior to the aristocracy…for a while anyway. After all, what was so superior about the aristocracy anyway? We all look young when we are in our 20’s, but after 20 years of hard labor, nutritionally deficient food, and numerous untreated diseases, the common people didn’t look so good. Aristocrats fared much better, hanging around the castle. So the superiority was an illusion, and common people knew it. The problem was, the power of the aristocracy was so entrenched, there was little the common people could do about it.

The situation changed in early America. The colonists discovered that few aristocrats came with them to America. They began to enjoy aristocrat free lives. No more stupid decisions made by stupid entitled aristocrats. No more changing the news and history to protect stupid aristocrats. So, when the time came to create a new nation, they decided do do it without aristocrats, and they did it, with the statement, “all men are created equal”!

A lot of people think “all men are created equal” was about slavery, that somehow, the abolitionists managed to get that statement put in there to support their anti slavery view. The bible says “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:38). This scripture is the impetus for the abolitionist movement. I am of the opinion that “all men are created equal” was not about slavery, but about the abolition of the aristocracy. The founding fathers were all in agreement about this one, the aristocracy had to go. I am sure there was no argument about that statement, nor was anyone even thinking about slavery.

I have said before in this blog that there are people who think they are better than us common people. They don’t call themselves aristocrats, but they act like aristocrats, including changing the news and history to hide their mistakes. They think they were born to rule. The founding fathers did not want people in America thinking like they were better than everyone else. So the concept of the aristocracy was abolished with the words “all men are created equal”.

Today, this statement has been misinterpreted again. Now people are saying this statement means equality of outcome. These people preaching this think they are born to rule, and are changing western culture to implement their dream of diversity. They are the vanguard of the new order, the dream of world wide socialism. This is the same dream that came from Marxism, and Communism. Their dream of equality of outcome comes from the same dream from Marxism, where everyone is paid the same despite their abilities, or work ethic. Like the aristocracy of the past, they changed the name of their dream to cover up the abject failure of Communism in the small scale. They are changing the news, and changing history to cover up their failures. The complete foolishness of this is hidden from them because of their belief that they are superior, that they were born to rule.

The sad truth is, “all men are created equal” does not mean “all men are created the same”. People can be profoundly different from each other. Some are smart, some are strong, some are coordinated, and some are natural born leaders. This diversity is what makes us strong, to use people’s differences to do different jobs to accomplish the goal. “But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.” (1 Corinthians 12:7 to 10).

This truth is profoundly evident in the private sector. In a business, important and difficult jobs are given to people who prove themselves. It is a meritocracy. In the public sector, this is happening less and less, with the important jobs being given to those who are high on the social scale instead of those who have proven themselves. This is becoming an aristocracy.

The end result is failure. More and more, the government and public institution are failing fundamentally. This is because the meritocracy is disappearing. Case in point, the VA hospital system has been failing our vets. Statistics were faked to cover up care being rationed. As a result, veterans have been actually dying. When politicians discovered the problem, they found out they couldn’t even fire those responsible. Why? Because the meritocracy was removed and an aristocracy was put in its place. Funny thing is, the VA system is a “single payer system” and those on the left are actually proposing this as a solution to our healthcare system in America, despite the abject failure of the system being implemented small scale.

In the end, this is Satan’s plan for the future of the west. Western culture will come crashing down as a result. As it says in the book of Revelation (18:2): “And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.” Western culture was born from the empire of Babylon, thousands of years ago, as depicted by the statue that Nebuchadnezzar dreamed in the book of Daniel (2:38) “in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.”

Just submitted the following letter to the editor of the Poughkeepsie Journal:

Your freedom is under attack! We all assume we have freedom of speech, but recently, progressives are pressuring governments and social media providers to regulate “hate speech” as defined by them. People are being kicked off YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook for simply expressing their opinions. If your opinion is not considered “politically correct” by these progressives, you will be censored. In addition, these same progressives are determining your intent by what you say. There is no saying, “I didn’t mean that” or “You are taking what I said out of context”. You said something politically incorrect, and now you will be censored! What is completely subjective, has now become definitive by progressives. In Canada, a bill recently passed, (C16), that makes the use of incorrect pronouns as determined by individual transgender people, subject to disciplinary action. The legislators swore that the bill would not affect people’s liberty, but a recent case involving an assistant professor has proven otherwise when the professor was disciplined for showing a video where Jordan Peterson said that bill C16 is designed to enforce compelled speech. In the end, the result will be, that opinions dissenting from progressive orthodoxy will not be heard, just like in Cuba, China, North Korea and Venezuela. Since progressives own the Democratic party, don’t vote for them no matter what your politics are! If certain people don’t have freedom of speech, no one has freedom of speech!

I was told in school that I am a smart guy. I have an above average IQ according to IQ tests that I took. What does this mean? It means that I process information quicker than most people. Does it mean that I never do dumb things? Nope.

In fact, the reality of the difference in IQ of different people is so stark, that it might lead one to become a elitist. There are ethnic groups with an average IQ in the 60s, to ethnic groups with IQ scores above 115. If you are of an ethnic group with an IQ in the 60s, you might feel bad about yourself. If you are of an ethnic group with scores above 115, you might feel superior. The question is, should you?

This question is the reason God had Solomon write the book of Proverbs. In the book of proverbs, God contrasts the “foolishness of men” to the “wisdom of God”. The wisdom of God, is from God. According to the book of Proverbs, anyone can have the wisdom of God, which is freely available, simply by asking.

From Proverbs 2 verse 3 to 6:

For if you cry for discernment,
Lift your voice for understanding;
If you seek her as silver
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will discern the fear of the Lord
And discover the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

In other words, If you want knowledge and understanding, all you have to do is ask. You do not need a high IQ.

Fact is though, a high IQ does buy you things. For me, it bought be a good job as a Computer Programmer. Companies give prospective programmers an IQ test before hiring them. They do this because the job requires a lot of research and education to adapt to new technologies. Lower IQ people would take a long time jumping to a new technology so they would not make good employees.

On the other side of the coin, some jobs are dull and repetitious, and a high IQ person would be bored to death doing them, and would perform poorly. A lower IQ person would be a better fit.

Rather than valuing people’s differences in IQ, society favors the high IQ person over the lower IQ person. This is stupid. It also ignores the basic problem that people have, doing stupid things irregardless of their IQ.

In order to explain this, I want to compare and contrast IQ and God’s wisdom (which I will refer to as just “wisdom” from now on) with Horse Power and Torque.

Automobile and Truck engines generally have 2 specifications that are given out as a measurement of an engine’s capabilities. I am going to compare 2 engines, one from a Chevy Corvette, and one from a Mack trailer truck. The Corvette Z06 engine produces 650 hp and 650 ft lbs of torque. The Mack truck 11 L MP 7 engine produces 325 hp and 1200 ft lbs of torque. One engine is twice the horse power and half the torque, and the other is half the horse power and twice the torque.

One engine is used to propel a Truck carrying up to 80,000 lbs at a top speed around 70 mph. The other is used to propel a car carrying 2 people and about 500 lbs of luggage to a top speed around 180 mph. One engine is sexy, the other is boring, but if you were moving your household goods across the country, which would you choose?

One might ask, couldn’t the Corvette engine be put into the Mack Truck to make it go faster? The answer is no. A Corvette engine does not have the torque to handle 80,000 lbs. If fact, it would tear itself apart at the first hill you tried to climb.

Horsepower is like IQ. It is sexy and impressive. Horsepower will propel a lightweight vehicle to high speeds. IQ will enable a person to learn new things quickly. High horsepower and low torque will not handle heavy loads however. High IQ will not automatically enable a person to make good decisions however.

Torque is like wisdom. It is dull and boring. Torque will enable you to move heavy loads at low speeds. Wisdom will enable you to complete large projects. High torque and low horsepower will not help you win races however.

The conclusion is, we need wisdom, not high IQ’s. A high IQ does not stop you from being foolish. A high IQ might make you clever, but from Isaiah 29:14 (NIV):

Therefore once more I will astound these people
with wonder upon wonder;
the wisdom of the wise will perish,
the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.

In the end, we all need wisdom no matter what our IQ is. High IQ people do a lot of stupid things, because of the pride they have in themselves. The book of Proverbs identifies these people as “cunning”, “haughty” and “proud”. The book of Proverbs chapter 21:2 through 6 predicts failure for these people:

Every man’s way is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts.
To do righteousness and justice
Is desired by the Lord more than sacrifice.
Haughty eyes and a proud heart,
The lamp of the wicked, is sin.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage,
But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty.

In the end, people who rely on IQ, and assume it also makes them wise, are identified by their promotion of these 2 things:

1. Atheism (“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” Psalm 14:1)
2. Socialism (“he will take your sons and place them for himself in his chariots and among his horsemen and they will run before his chariots.” 1 Samuel 8:11, see Socialism, good or bad? and Is America Being Robbed?)

Both of these things are foolish and will result in failure.

No high IQ person should ever assume that he is automatically wise and that he does not need the wisdom that only comes from God!

From Revelation 18:1 through 3 – “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. 3“For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.”

From Revelation 18:11 – “…And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargoes any more…”

In my opinion, “Babylon” is the West. The West, is defined as first world counties in Europe, the Pacific Rim, and North America. Leftists politicians in the West are currently in the process of importing people from countries outside the West to vote for them. According to a recent poll taken in the United States, only white males prefer smaller government. Every other ethnic group prefers larger government. Leftists are 100% for larger government. Except for some countries in the pacific rim (example Japan) the West is the creation of white males.

If you listen to leftists operating in the West, what you will hear is a lot of bigotry against white males. The primary reason for this bigotry is because white males are against larger government. Leftists, craving power, are trying to import as many voters as possible from outside the West. This is why they are promoting open borders to let as many people as possible into the West. They are doing this for 2 reasons:

1. 1. 1. Leftists generally do not reproduce. The main reason is that they are too selfish to do so. Having children enslaves one to your own children, and prevents one from enjoying life to its fullest. Also, the notion of being married to one person the whole time, is seen as enslaving. Other factors include sexual immorality, like homosexuality and transgenderism. The end result of this is a gradually decreasing population. This is particularly stark in Europe and Japan. In a couple of generations, there will be no more leftists, because only rightists are actually reproducing in those countries. For the leftists, there is only one solution, import leftists that still reproduce.
      2. Most countries in the West are democratic republics. Having more people in those countries that will vote for leftists, increases the power of leftist leaders. Since the West is a creation of the white male, these people still have much power and influence in these countries. So, to battle them, leftists need more non-white people.

One of the ways that leftists entice people from outside the West to emigrate to the West is to offer them free income. This income has a two fold benefit:

1. 1. 1. It ties the immigrants to the leftist leaders, by making them dependent on big government to provide the income they need.
      2. It also enslaves existing Western people who are also getting a government income to the leftist leaders. Despite any reservations they may have about big government, they feel they must vote for it to keep receiving the income they need. An example of this is the fact that most Latinos and Blacks in the US are solidly against gay marriage and transgenderism, but still block vote for leftists anyway.

The end result of mass immigration and buying votes is that the West will go bankrupt. The money that leftists use to provide income for this comes from, ironically, white males. After white males run out of money, where will the money come from? The answer that we see from Revelations 18, is the death of the West due to bankruptcy because white males are rapidly becoming an underclass. Underclasses as a rule, do not have money.

You may ask, what about the Jews in western Europe? They were an underclass and yet they were very wealthy. Do I need to remind you about the Jewish Holocaust?

Another factor is that large governments eventually go bankrupt. Where does a government get its money? From the private sector. In the West, the private sector is controlled by white males. As the public sector (big government) gets stronger, the private sector gets weaker until the whole thing goes bankrupt. You may say, what about socialism? In socialism, the public sector controls the private sector. The reality, as we have seen, is that the same thing occurs, the private sector is increasingly unable to produce income due to the heavy hand of the government. The end result is always bankruptcy.

So, why do leftists pursue this failing program? The answer is short term gain. If you can increase your power now, and retire to the Caribbean, wouldn’t you do it? You can theoretically then watch the fall of the West, which you have been saying is BAD for years, from the beach of your beach house which you bought with money that you saved in an offshore bank. Plus, as a leftist, you probably don’t have any children to worry about.

The end result is nothing less than the end of the world.

Like everyone else, I enjoyed the story of Robin Hood. I watched several movies about him, including the famous Errol Flynn version. This version was the classic tale of the swash buckling bowman merrily living in the forest robbing rich noble men as they passed through. I watched as he justified his thievery by giving money to the poor and thwarting the evil Prince John and his man the Sheriff of Nottingham. It all sounds so romantic! In the end, Prince John is deposed and Robin Hood gets the Sheriff of Nottingham’s “wife to be” who, of course, does not want to marry the Sheriff.

The story has a problem. The bible says in Exodus 20:15: “You shall not steal.”

I have always thought that the 10 commandments are Gods way of defining sins that are not conditional. In the rest of the law, sin is conditional. For example in Exodus 20:

12“He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death. 13“But if he did not lie in wait for him, but God let him fall into his hand, then I will appoint you a place to which he may flee.

Interestingly, no such conditions exist in the case of theft. It is ALWAYS wrong. In the case of striking a man, it may not be wrong if the man did not “lie in wait”. So in the case of striking a man, it is NOT always wrong.

So what is wrong with the story of Robin Hood? Robin Hood is a thief. He is breaking a commandment that is ALWAYS wrong! So, why does it sound like Robin Hood is a good guy? The short answer is, the story was written that way.

According to the story, Robin Hood justified stealing from the Prince John’s noblemen because they were overtaxing the peasants and keeping the money for themselves. They justified the tax by claiming to be saving up for King Richard’s ransom. But, instead of paying the ransom, they kept the money.

The problem is that few people really act like the characters in this story. Maybe Prince John really was saving up for King Richard’s ransom, but was taking his time and skimming a little off the top. Robin Hood may not have really enjoyed living in the forest penniless, so he assumed that Prince John wasn’t really saving up for the ransom and used this assumption as justification to rob his nobles, and was skimming off the top for a few luxuries to make their forest home more comfortable. Maybe Maid Marian really did want to marry the Sheriff, but when she saw the handsome Robin Hood, she was willing to break her engagement to get the more exciting man. This is how REAL people act, but really isn’t quite as exciting as the original story.

The problem? People like the story because it justifies sin. From John 3:19:

“This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil”

The story of Robin Hood is loved because it allows us to hide in the darkness committing sins, thinking no one sees us. But, GOD sees all and no one will escape judgment. It is perhaps the first of many stories designed to justify all the sins described in the 10 commandments. Next time you go see a movie, notice when the story justifies sin. You will be surprised to discover that almost all movies do this.

No, I did not spell “preying” incorrectly. I just watched a Stefan Molyneux video about Harvey Weinstein. If you are familiar with current events, you know that this movie producer has been exposed as a sexual predator of young women (surprise, surprise). What infuriated Stefan was that the left, knew about Harvey all along, yet praised him repeatedly. Harvey had helped the Democratic party repeatedly over the years. Stefan’s main point was that how can we trust people who “virtue signal” repeatedly about women’s issues, when they are ignoring a sexual predator in their midst? I have understood this myself for years, that people on the left are “hypocrisy challenged”. It was however a point that he made just before the end of his video that really opened my eyes!

He made the point that the old have been preying on the young forever. I believe that this is absolutely true. His points:

• Old men and now women seek out young people to satisfy their sexual urges. They use their accumulated resources to do so. They offer gifts, opportunities, and favors to get young people to have sex with them.
• Old men and now women use young people to fight their battles for them. The old get to settle old scores at the expense of the lives and vitality of young people.

All this makes me realize that, as an old man, that I wish to be young again. I am constantly frustrated with my inability to do things that I want to do, primarily because of old age. The temptation is to live vicariously through an young person. BUT, God wants me to support the young, to help them succeed and, most importantly, diminish myself to their benefit. I sometimes find this difficult.

After all, my desires for fame and fortune have not gone away. I still want to make my impact on the world. Problem is, my opportunity to do so is slipping away while I fight with old age. God wants me to help young people with my resources (asking nothing in return!) while I still want to be rich and famous.

Fortunately, I do not have the temptations of a man like Harvey Weinstein. As an old man, with considerable resources, he CAN tempt young women to sleep with him to get a part in his next film. I do not have these kinds of resources, and I thank God for that! So while it is easy to judge Harvey Weinstein, I wonder how many of US would do the same in his shoes?

Diminishing oneself to benefit the young (or the anointed) is a biblical principal. God asked John the Baptist to diminish himself for the benefit of Jesus. While the difference in their ages was not much, John the Baptist was older than Jesus.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30)

It is the same with me, I must decrease, but the young I am involved with, must increase, most notably, my own children.

The temptation is to keep my resources to myself, and use them for my own gain. God wants me to use them to benefit the young and the anointed. Harvey Weinstein used his resources to trap young women, I must used mine to benefit my children and those anointed by God, asking nothing in return.

What is interesting, is that helping my kids and the anointed, is not really that difficult! All I have to do is realize my time is past, and the young around me, their time is NOW. I am fighting old age, they are young and vibrant. It becomes an exercise in reality and accepting it.

In the end, people like Harvey Weinstein are FOOLS. The reality is, their time is over, and the time for young people is at hand.

There is a lot of misunderstanding of what socialism is. Funny thing is, the proponents like to talk about “social” security when bringing up the subject of socialism. What is funny is, that social security is a classic example of what is wrong with socialism. Its going broke! That is AWAYS what happens when socialism is implemented, and that is what is wrong with it.

Proponents of socialism like to bring up 3 things to make socialism look good, Jesus, northern Europe and Democratic socialism. First, let me talk about northern Europe.

Northern Europe has a lot of socialist programs like a welfare state, government health insurance, and public education. What people don’t know is that these countries also engaged in pubic ownership of private enterprise. This was a dismal failure. These countries are successful today because they were pragmatic and abandoned this activity and returned to capitalism. These countries are actually capitalistic and not really socialistic at all, in the strictest definition of the word. People need to realize, the goal of socialism is public ownership of private property. Whether they do it all at once, like they did in the USSR or they do it slowly like they tried in northern Europe, the goal is the same.

A lot of people like to say Jesus was a socialist (or more often, a communist). They say this because the idea is that they had all things in common. In the book of Acts, it talks about Ananias and Sopphira selling land and bringing the proceeds to the apostles. Apparently, this was public ownership of private property for the purpose of redistributing the wealth so that no one was poor. From Acts 4:34:

“For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales”.

What people don’t understand about this, is that socialism does this by force, where what is happening here is just generosity. People willingly giving away their private property to help the poor is not what socialism is proposing. Socialism proposes taking away private property and giving it to the government. Helping the poor is supposed to result, but more often than not, the government gets rich (and by side effect the administrators also) and everyone else, except the most destitute, gets poorer. The end result of this is bankruptcy. Aways, Aways, Aways.

The so called “Democratic” socialism implies that we can have freedom AND socialism. What happens is that the “democracy” only works as long as people continue to choose socialistic politicians. If they get upset with the status quo, and vote out the socialists, then the country becomes capitalist again. This is what happened in northern Europe. In Venezuela, what happened, is that when the people didn’t vote for the socialists, the government ceases to be democratic and a despotic dictatorship is born. So the reality is, socialism really cannot be “democratic” because if the democracy is real, socialism can be voted out. Since socialism AWAYS goes bankrupt, the people AWAYS try to vote it out. This happens because the goal of democratic socialism is public ownership of private property. This is the very definition of socialism. Democratic socialism seeks to do this slowly, with allowing private ownership for a while, but gradually taking over the ownership of private property over time. Whether the process happens over time, or happens immediately, the goal is the same.

The reason that socialism goes broke is because it kills the private sector, and takes away incentive to work hard. Capitalism offers a reward for hard work, and socialism takes it away. Its just that simple. Human nature is to not bang ones head against the wall for no reason. The proponents of socialism think people work because they enjoy it, and while this may be true for some people, most people don’t enjoy work at all, and there is plenty of work that needs to be done that nobody wants to do. The incentive to do this work, is payment. Employers need to incentivize this work so that it gets done by paying as more for these jobs as for more interesting jobs. Socialism takes this incentive away, because it redistributes the wealth from hard working people doing jobs no one else wants to do, and giving the money to people who aren’t working at all or are doing easy jobs. As a result the income of the state goes down. Add to that, the gradual increasing corruption that occurs when making a lot of money disappears from hard work, and the end result is bankruptcy as the cost of government services goes up to pay for all the administrators who are skimming off the top.

So, lets all be generous and just keep capitalism! Ever wonder why socialism is endorsed by so many atheists? Ever wonder why Karl Marx said “Religion is the opiate of the masses”? Socialism is just part of Satan’s plan.
